Be Broken or be ground to dust?

Matthew 16:23 – “But He turned and said to Peter,Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.’ ”

Simeon barJohah (Peter) in this instance, was a stumbling block to the Son of G_D..the G_D-Man Yeshua/Jesus. That’s pretty severe and of significant and weighty conviction. What is the Word of the Lord saying to us all through His Word?

"And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust." (Matthew 21:44)

“Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.” (Romans 14:13)

Do you feel Ground to Dust or feel pretty broken up sometimes?

I do.

When my sight has been lost, when my legs go lame, when my hearing is annulled; I am “poured out” and I am emptied out.

Paul the Apostle experienced such at times: For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:6-7)

What to do…what to do…

Maybe “nothing???”

Wait on the Lord, do not lose faith…trust on Him..

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their step”   (Proverbs 6:9)

Our hearts are unreliable, our desires driven and influenced by the flesh, our hopes for ourselves amount to “chasing after the wind”.

HE is the source and the destination…it is immensely difficult for us flawed children of the Living G_D to wait on Him to truly love Him through thick and thin…through derision and mockery.

Be still and wait on Him with confidence, with assurance, and with Power from On High.

“Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. ..." (Mark 4:39)

Do you wait, endure, persist, and allow yourself to be “poured out” with faith,

perhaps that you will be retrieved, pulled up out of the pit, saved from the brink?

What a difficult and beautiful place to allow be…….
