Women’s Christmas Brunch

Ladies, Signups Begin for our Annual Women’s Christmas Brunch scheduled for December 15, 9 a.m.-Noon. Sign up at the Women’s Ministry Table to host and/or set a table, to let us know you are coming, and how you can help. Cost is $10. Bring cookies for the cookie exchange. Invite a neighbor, relative or friend. Come worship with and hear from Sherri Youngward and enjoy a lovely brunch in a beautiful time of fellowship!

Candlelight Christmas Eve Service

We invite you to join us for our annual Candlelight Christmas Eve Service for the whole family as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on Christmas Eve from 6:30-7:30 pm. 


Holiday dates to remember

Want to get a jump-start on your holiday planning? Click here to view or download a handy flyer with a schedule of upcoming holiday events and planning/preparation schedules. Here’s a few to save the date:  

  • Dec. 12: Ready Sanctuary (move chairs and tables) following our Wednesday evening service.
  • Dec. 14: Set up and decorate tables, Noon-3 p.m.
  • Dec. 15: Women’s Christmas Brunch, 9:30 a.m-noon. Come worship with and hear from Sherri Youngward and enjoy a lovely brunch.
  • Dec. 24: Candlelight Christmas Eve Service for the whole family, 6:30-7:30 pm.
  • January 6th Holiday undecorating after church. Bring a lunch and help take down décor and store it away for next year.

Women’s Fall Bible Studies*

*Note: Following this Thursday, Women’s studies will break for the holidays — resuming January 10.
Faith, hope and love in action will be our focus in the books of 1st & 2nd Peter and 1st John this year. Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:15 in the Chapel and evenings, 6:45-8:30, hosted by several different ladies in the group. 
There are a few different locations depending on the week for the evening studies; for a full schedule, addresses and directions, please call or text (209) 304-3653, thank you!  Please sign up in the Foyer so we know how to prepare material for you. Studies are available for you in the Foyer. Please take either morning or evening study, as they are different, and complete the first lesson to discuss in our first session, thanks! Questions? CCVS Worship Team’sOur Great God” CD is available in the Bookstore. Please begin with one per family and indicate on the form if you need more. We will be happy to duplicate for you. Your donation will help defray the cost of production & duplication. Enjoy!
