Operation Christmas Child Boxing Party

Join us on Friday, October 26, from 4-6 pm for our second Operation Christmas Child Boxing Party. Bring a snack to share/enjoy and a prayerful heart and useful hands to assemble boxes. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 146 million children in more than 100 countries. Shoebox gifts are a way to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Want to know more? Check out the Christmas Child Table in the fire lane, where you can also drop off any items you want to donate (here’s a handy checklist of ideas), or visit Till then, you can pick up a box to fill or bring items for the boxing party and drop them at the Christmas Child table.

“Not the Way I Heard It” 
Welcome Chuck Neighbors at 10 a.m. Sunday, November 4, as he brings a dramatic presentation of the Gospel in “Not the Way I Heard It,” a contemporary retelling of the parables of Jesus in a unique one-man drama that brings some of our favorite parables to life in a fresh new way. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor as well as encourage your own faith!

Women’s Fall Bible Studies

Faith, hope and love in action will be our focus in the books of 1st & 2nd Peter and 1st John this year. Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:15 in the Chapel and evenings, 6:45-8:30, hosted by several different ladies in the group. There are a few different locations depending on the week for the evening studies; for a full schedule, addresses and directions, please call or text (209) 304-3653, thank you!  Please sign up in the Foyer so we know how to prepare material for you. Studies are available for you in the Foyer. Please take either morning or evening study, as they are different, and complete the first lesson to discuss in our first session, thanks! Questions? Food Pantry Closure

We are no longer supporting our food pantry.  Instead, we encourage anyone in our fellowship that may find themselves in need of assistance to contact Dolores in the office for a Food Voucher from the Mar-Val Store.
